What is Front Office?
Front Office is a clothing brand shaped by research.
Rooted in workwear, tailoring, and sportswear, our garments are functional, minimalist, and designed to bring the past into the present.
Do you restock items?
Rarely. Most of our items are made in small runs or by preorder. If something sells out, it’s often gone for good — although popular items may be revisited in a future collection.
Can I request a custom alteration or pattern?
We don’t offer custom garments or share our patterns. However, we encourage taking your garment to a skilled tailor if you’d like it altered — that way, it’s made to fit you, not just a size.
Where are your garments made?
We manufacture across multiple locations including Australia, China, and Japan, depending on the product. We work only with mills and factories that meet our standards for quality and ethics.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Where do you ship from? Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We have two international warehouses (Australia and USA) that cover many countries. Your products will be shipped from the nearest warehouse. We are in the middle of finalising our UK warehouse that will cover UK and EU.
The shipping cost is built into the retail cost, there is no additional shipping fee to consider.
I am concerned about import taxes and tariffs? How is this handled?
Front Office has already paid import taxes and tariffs to keep stock in warehouses in the USA and Australia. We are awaiting local government approval for the UK warehouse, that will service UK and Europe. This will allow us to offer a much smoother, fully landed shopping experience.
The checkout screen is the final price, with no additional surprise fees at customs. How this is displayed (VAT/Taxes/tariffs) varies by region.
Why can’t I find a product in my region?
Due to recent changes in tariffs and logistics, our product availability varies by region. We have to be selective as to what is available in each region.
US customers will be able to choose products that are stocked in the US warehouse, Australia/Asia customers will be able to choose products stocked in the Australian warehouse. When the UK/Europe warehouse is active, US/Europe customers will be able to access products stocked there.
SIZING AND FIT
Where is the size chart?
We encourage our customers to use the size chart provided (last image in the photo gallery) and compare it with a reference garment that fits them, laid flat. If you’re unsure, feel free to email us — we’re happy to help.
Your sizing is different from other brands — why?
Our sizing is based on original grading rather than standard numerical or letter sizing. We design with proportions and silhouette in mind, so our sizing is unique. Always check the measurements.
The zipper feels stiff or tricky to align. Is that normal?
Yes—our garments use a two-way YKK double zipper, which can take a moment to seat properly. These zips are designed for durability and function but sometimes require a touch more care when starting. We recommend pinching the base firmly when aligning the sliders and zipping slowly to avoid stress on the garment. Over time, the motion usually smooths out with wear.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Do you offer exchanges if the size doesn’t fit?
Because we make small runs, we often don’t have extra inventory. In most cases, we offer store credit minus a small restocking fee via our returns portal. If we have spare stock in your requested size, we’ll happily arrange an exchange.
Where are your clothes made?
Most of our clothes use fabric from Japanese mills, and cut/sewn in Japanese and Chinese factories. We have small Australian and Portuguese programs. As the types of clothes we make evolve, so will our supply chain.
What is your return policy?
Under previous policy, we accept returns for a 10% restocking fee and store credit.
From orders placed 1 Sept 2025 onwards, we accept free returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn and in original condition.

PRE-ORDERS
Can I cancel my pre-order?
We do not accept cancellations or refunds on pre-orders for change of mind.
Each pre-order item is made specifically for you, and once production begins, materials and labour are committed. This policy ensures we don’t overproduce and keeps our process sustainable and intentional.
Once the item is in production, cancellations or refunds are not possible unless there is a fault with the garment.
Can I change the address of a pre-order?
If your order hasn’t shipped yet and you need to update your delivery details (like a phone number or shipping address), we’re happy to help. Please contact us at - orders(at)frontoffice(dot)co with your order number and new address/phone number.
Can I return a preorder item?
Yes — as long as it meets the return criteria and is returned within 14 days of receiving it.
